'I just want people to have opportunity. I want people to have a decent education. I want the kids round here to understand that they can do other things wth their lives, that they don't have to settle for that... That's really what I'm about'

The Meat and Onions Gang by Mari Shibata (1986), UK, profiles a group of independant working class musicians from London, fed up with David Cameron's coalition government. With an ethos resembling the punk scene under Margaret Thatcher's government in the 1970s, we follow frontman Danny Onion's journey in creating a musical voice for London's working class community who cannot afford the money or time for political activism.
