1. First tests of anamorphic. Took my new Moondog Labs Anamorphic Adapter for the iPhone 5/5S around San Francisco for the Frozen Sing Along.

Shot on iPhone 5S with Filmic Pro and the Camera app. Edited in FCPX. Graded with FilmConvert.

Pros: Probably the cheapest way to get an anamorphic lens, aside from the Letus GoPro adapter.
Cons: Blocks microphone (must use secondary audio source), need a glif to get iPhone on a tripod or stabilization.

To de-squeeze the footage in FCPX, I selected opened Scale option in the inspector and turned the Y axis to 75%. I created a export option in Compressor to crop the footage to 1080x812. Here's a link to the Compressor droplets: http://bit.ly/1kPpyqw
