Keynote Speaker: Jeremy Bailenson
Professor Jeremy Bailenson is the founding director of Stanford University's Virtual Human Interaction Lab. Professor Bailenson specializes in human interaction in virtual environments and how those interactions can facilitate behavior change. Bailenson will talk about his research in “immersive virtual reality” (VR) and how these systems could be used to affect behavioral efficiency programs. He recently received a Department of Energy grant to explore how this new technology can affect energy consumption behavior. In addition to hearing Professor Bailenson talk about his work, conference attendees will be able to don goggles and experience VR for themselves.
