In all areas of our life it's so easy to look around at what others are doing and wish that we could be doing that too. Whatever it is. Whether that's being a full-time photographer, staying home with your kids full-time, going on that vacation that your friend just got back from.
It's all too easy to get wrapped up in this negative cycle, ESPECIALLY if you're in a career field like photography where you're constantly putting your work on display for others to see. Stop playing the comparison game & hear what I think about it:
How often do we take a step back to think about what we're most afraid of? Once we name those fears that we have, they loose some of their power over us.
Stepping into the fear and pushing through those insecurities opens up a world of possibilities. Stepping out of your comfort box into a new place can be a very good thing, as I'm continuing to learn more and more.
