"Landscapes of Malta" in 4K resolution.
This video was shoted during my visit of Malta (16.10.2013 - 10.11.2013). During this trip I walked through all of the three Malta's Islands (Malta, Gozo, Comino). It was a wonderful, but also very exhausting adventure. I had to walk everyday carrying heavy 35kg rucksack full of photo equipment. I met many friendly people, always willing to help. They often invited me for a coffee, beer or food, drove me from place to place, and some of them even offered me a place to stay during the night. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all helpful people in Malta and Gozo for their hospitality. To be specific thanks to: Carmelo from Xwejni Bay, Miram from 'Hair Styling by Miram - Gozo', Martin from Dragonara Tower security, Dennis V., Pierre G., Joan from Dwejra Gift Shop, Maria and Noel M. from Ireland, http://bluegrottomalta.com.mt, http://ingozo.com/www.dwejradivers.com. I dedicate this video to you!
Also Thanks to Secesion studios for creating such an amazing song.

On November 12th 2015 we traveled to Iceland, the goal was to witness the Northern Lights and visit the newly open Langjökull glacier. We visited Rejkiavik and their surroundings and we met great people who will always stay in our heart. The four day trip shown in this video represents one the most exciting time we ever had in recent memory. This video was shot with iPhone 6s and GoPro Hero 4.
The music is by sigur rós - Rafstraumur (Instrumental) from the album Kveikur Label: XL Recordings
I had been dreaming about making this trip for more than 10 years. It was not as desired as the one I made last year on the West coast (vimeo.com/56812817), but still. Today, I feel like I never left Iceland. I stayed in the mountains and hot springs. Every night I see myself arriving to Jökulsárlón and spending the night of my 31st birthday contemplating the northern lights. A permanent show. Everywhere. I lost myself there. Too good to be true. The only thing I have been thinking about ever since is too grab my bagpack, my stuff and go away, far away, again.

"The Forest" takes us on a journey through the deep forests and aims to shine light on a landscape in Norway one usually does not see in the tourist magazines. This is portrayed through the magical night, mystical morning and adventurous day. Set to the words of Theodor Kittelsen the film gives associations with the traditional, Norwegian fairytales in a modern visual and auditive setting.
The soundtrack (named "Urskog") is custom composed for this film by Jogeir Daae Mæland. Check out his Facebook page (facebook.com/jogeirdaaemaeland/) and Soundcloud (soundcloud.com/j-daae-maeland). Vocals on the track is done by Katrine Ødegaard Stenbekk. Mixed and mastered by Tony Draper. These guys were also the creators of the soundtrack from my last video, "NORWAY - A Time-Lapse Adventure". The voice over is done by the brilliant Norwegian actor Ingar Helge Gimle.
The film is mainly recorded in or nearby Oslo.
Crew on this video:
