    recurring patterns in my real life have been tripping me out, thus providing, eventually, inspiration.

    i wanted to avoid anything i usually use as a crutch in my art, such as narrative, and figurative representation.

    my marks were all made by erasing, subtracting, or distorting 3 digital photos. it took about 1 hour to make the basic marks and composition in photoshop, and 3 days to realize the animation and noodle around a lot in afterFX.

    in any case i feel a lot better now, having made this. and i enjoy watching it, which is all i can ask for of art that nobody asked me to make. hopefully some other people will like it too.
