Learning a new language is difficult for many people. Especially students who study abroad, are dependent on language to find their way around. Live Language is a context-based app for mobile device, and uses image and speech recognition as well as matching user's current location to semantic context, in order to provide accurate keywords and phrases for specific scenarios. The more the app is used, the smarter the recognition will become. Therefore the app allows the user to learn without time and place limitations by helping to communicate through instant support in reading, listening and speaking within real life settings.

Expressive Wearable explores clothing as a communication tool. This project imagines a scenario in which clothing expresses the wearer’s attitude directly without the concern of adhering to social conventions. More broadly, the project explores how people might playfully use wearables that move and gesture, what the aesthetics of these will be, and how wearables might interact with each other in group situations. This project speaks up in silence, using ambiguity as a guidance to explore a seemingly impromptu interaction meanwhile delivering meaningful message accurately and expressively. It provokes social conventions by speculating on the complexity of human psychology behaviors.

The seat designer is a rich interactive web based seat map and ticket creation management tool. It enables Eventbrite organizers to design and manage their own seat maps, set a selling order, create and assign tickets for any reserved seating events they host. The project aims to open up and disrupt the reserved seating event market by enabling organizers to take control of their own seated events.

The seat designer extends our existing event creation product by allowing the addition of a seat map to an event where attendees are assigned a seat when purchasing a ticket.
