Flew to Japan with Tin and my buddy Paul just in time to see the sakura trees in bloom. Tackled Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in nine days. The Japanese are such friendly and helpful people. Japan has an energetic vibe and eclectic culture where both the mundane and weird coexist harmoniously. The food alone made me not want to leave so soon. Definitely on my favorite countries list.

For the 3rd episode of our BEAT OF THE WORLD project, my friend and artist SPOXO travelled to Tokyo. Not only did he bring back loads of memories and stories, but most importantly tons of bizarre pictures. I cutted them into pieces and remixed the audio files with Toussaint’s haunting composition „Doors of Perception“.
Feel free to dive into the bustling street life of Japan’s metropolis and watch – but also listen to „The Beat of Tokyo“...!
