A timelapse composition of the Atlanta Skyline that embraces contemporary styles of modern architecture amid most of its 200+ meter buildings built throughout the past 3 decades. As of 2014, 18 new highrises are projected or already under construction within the city, with at least 4 surpassing 55 stories as Atlanta aims to become an even larger hub in the United States. Atlanta has the country's fourth-largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies and more than 75% of the Fortune 1000 companies have a presence in the metro area. Although the Atlanta skyline is not comparable to emerging global cities in the volume of skyscrapers, Atlanta has been one of the pioneers for an American city to showcase new architectural concepts throughout history.
