In this video, you will learn how to use a building generator asset. This asset lets you quickly block out a building with a wide range of parameters including custom curve input for the building shape and modifiable window tile textures.
This asset is used as part of a virtual production toolset created using the Houdini Engine and Unity. The SmartVCS is a virtual cinematography platform that provides professional directors as well as a new market of amateur filmmakers the ability to previsualize their films or game cinematics utilizing familiar and accessible technology. Paired with the procedural decoration and mesh generation assets developed for use in Engine, the following video presents a case study of how these two technologies could be integrated into a procedural previsualization workflow.
This video will be looking at the Terrain tool inside the Crowds Shelf Set. First we populate some ground geometry with agents (zombies), and then change their Default State from 'stand' to 'zombie', use the Simulate tool and then the Terrain tool to get the zombie agents to walk up on a sloped terrain surface.
