Following just six weeks of preparation and collaboration between several groups of multi-disciplinary artists, sARTorial made its Sydney debut on September 21 at Annandale's Off Broadway Festival Hub. Celebrating the annual Art Month festival, Artereal Gallery and dLux MediaArts joined forces on Saturday 21 March 2015 to produce a one-day festival of visual arts in the Rozelle Contemporary Art Precinct. This mini-festival included artist talks, panel discussions, video art screenings and refreshments, making for an entertaining and full afternoon on what was an otherwise rainy day.
As part of the festivities, dLux MediaArts and Artereal Gallery presented a special keynote event: a relaxed and engaging panel discussion chaired by SEBASTIAN GOLDSPINK, modelled on the ABC television show Q&A.
The panel of art world luminaries included: LIAM BENSON (Artist, represented by Artereal Gallery), LUISA CATANZARO (Director, Artereal Gallery), ANNA DAVIS (Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia) and SEAN MORRIS (Art Collector and Director of Square One Studios).
