+ More

terra ArMEnia is a multimedia project that investigates the connections between ethnic Armenian’s living and growing up in diaspora and their ancestral homeland in Armenia.

Photographer Erol Gurian met with and photographed many Armenians in diaspora communities in Germany, Paris, Los Angeles and Beirut to find memories and stories of special places in their collective historical home.

Set to capture the imagery and feeling of those memories, Erol and his team traveled to Armenia to find an inspiring country of heritage, culture and history.

Blake Ryan Lewis, is an American video freelancer living in Munich (Stewis Media). Finding and telling stories is a passion and profession, which led to his participation in the multimedia exhibition “terra ArMEnia”. Together with his wife Janine Stengel, he created the website and video installation for the project and will publish the behind the scenes documentary of terra ArMenia in May 2015.
