Nicholas Matthews is an award-winning Los Angeles based cinematographer. He's shot 5 independent feature films in Mexico City, Colorado, the Mojave Desert, & Los Angeles, which starred actors including Isabel Lucas (Knight of Cups) Alexandra Park (The Royals), Gerardo Taracena (Apocalypto), Jose Sefami (Amores Perros), and others.
Recently, the L.A. Times called his work on border thriller The Boatman "more art film than action film; deliberately paced, skillfully shot, emotionally challenging." Additionally, he's worked with celebrities Ice Cube, Kylie Jenner, Rainn Wilson, Grace Helbig, Paul Scheer, and MAGIC! on commercial and music videos. He thrives on collaboration in finding each project's unique voice.

An award-winning Director of Photography and the son of Czech political refugees, David Kruta’s lifetime has taken him through a variety of cultures, experiences and locations spanning the globe, naturally bringing him to New York City to fulfill his passion for cinematography and storytelling.
David’s career in the arts included not only still and moving pictures, but also the culinary arts, graphic design and fine art - all of which have inspired him to create cutting-edge visuals in his pursuit for the perfect image.
David has shot short films, commercials, documentaries, fashion and music videos and feature films. He is the visual architect behind the 2013 Sundance Competing feature film, “Concussion,” starring Robin Weigert (Deadwood) and Maggie Siff (Sons of Anarchy).
David has shot for a an extensive list of clients including Porsche, Mizuno, Canon, Gilette, Starbucks, Sony, Amtrak, Bose and Penske, and is always on the lookout for new and interesting projects.
