1. Loving the new 4.2 update that allows me to black shade. The low light of this camera has changed tremendously.

This is a quick recap of us spending time with my mom and grandma at the Deck The Halls display held at Stan Hywet.

Mostly filmed at ISO 800 in Raw. Some changed to 400 in post but mostly everything is at 800.

    Sigma 18-35mm @1.7.

  2. Wow, EDC. I did not expect that. Loud. Crazy Hot. And Loud (did I say loud). Thankfully I had ear plugs (yes I actually enjoy my hearing). EDC 2016 was a lot of fun and I am very thankful to the Corrino Media Group for allowing me to be a part of it. I only saw about 1/4th of the party, I mean event but from what I did see, it was amazing. Looking forward to next year.

  4. I've been wanting to like Vlog but every experience I've had with it has caused me a lot of heartache.

Today I finally achieved the best results I've ever had.

I went out with my girlfriend to the Veterans Cemetery and did some filming with my Schneider Xenon 35mm t2.1 attached to a BMPCC Metabones Speedbooster. I recently learned that you can adjust the backfocus on the speedbooster. I'm so glad I learned about that because now I can use my cine lens as if it were a photography lens. Allowing me to pull focus much faster.

Everything shot I tried to shoot twice. One in SCENERY Profile. One in Vlog. All recorded internally on the GH4.

    Scenery setup.
    -5,-5,-5,-5,+3 H/S -5+5 MP+15 16-255

    Vlog
    -5,-5

I exposed both shots to 2/3rds of a stop over. Shutter at 1/100th and ISO at 400 in Vlog and 200 in Scenery.

Tstop I would adjust from 2.8 to 5.6 but with speedbooster, I would say it was more like 1.8 to 3.5.

For grading I did everything in Premiere with some Luts I've created inside of Premiere.

I appreciate you taking the time to watch these test films.
