Casey is a talented, teenage cellist who composes her own music, but when she wants to share it, she is shut down - by family, by her own music teacher. In the end, she overcomes these obstacles in a big, uplifting musical ending, and saves her High School arts program at the same time.

At the age of twelve, Alma played as a soloist with the Brookline Youth Orchestra. She is currently principal cellist of the Brookline High School orchestra, where she attends school as a freshman. She has participated in both senior and junior Eastern Junior Districts, and played in the Festival Youth Orchestra at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall. When she was eleven, she was inspired to start a YouTube channel as a musical outlet for her appreciation of popular and classical music alike. She posts videos playing, cello, guitar, ukulele, and singing, and has been uploading videos ever since.
