Tim Drage is our kind of circuit bender… someone who does it himself, videos it, shows his working and provides an exhaustive and exhausting number of links so that anyone can get involved and learn to do it themselves. His process: 1. Bend – 2. Make a racket – 3. Smash to pieces – 4. If repairable, go to 2; if beyond repair, go to 1.
This is not really Cementimental but it's still amazing. Stealthy and ClichéGuevara have a riot.
This is shot with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 or something and a Sony W995. You'll note that when we flick to the W995 footage it's 4:3 layered on the 16:9 of the Lumix footage underneath. This is intentional since it suits the chaotic nature of the piece. Really. It took about 15x longer to render as a result so I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't a good idea.
