There is a lot to be said for the city; the normalcy, the everyday and the patterns that occur and recur within the infra ordinary. A ‘Perecian’ watching the patterns of life as the cycle of being continually returns and we are reminded of our age, our time, our roots and our deep connection to the patterns, textures, materials and objects around, and before, us. The textures of the street tell us stories in the rough stone, the plastics and the soft paper of discarded materials. The found and the ordinary pass us by until we start to notice the places between objects and things. The narratives that are not easily revealed. The energy that opens the doors between the normal and the unnoticed which becomes a pathway to something else.
