On Wednesday 30th December I captured the #wedding of Dan-e & Leanne at Tortworth Court. My day started at Leanne's house for some bridal preparations. I knew from the moment I captured the wedding dress that with personalised coat hangers that the wedding had been very well organised. When I got to Tortworth Dan-e's home national flag of Mauritius was hanging from the hotel. I then met the groom for some final preparations shots before joining the guests down stairs.
The weather wasn't going to spoil anybodies sprits and everybody was enjoying themselves. During the wedding there were 4 readings, one was translated to French for part of the family. After the wedding Studiowise arranged the group and personal shots. I was amazed how beautiful the wedding breakfast looked, lots of candles everywhere.
The speeches were great and it was really nice being a part of them, again parts were translated for our French guests.
Later we move to the marquee where Celebration Roadshow were playing. Dan-e requested Kevin Little - Turn me on and that sent all the guests to the dance floor where they partied the night away. Congratulations Dan-e & Leanne.
On Saturday 12th December I Captured the #wedding of Antony & April at Horfield Parish Church & Old Down Manor. My day started with Aprail and her 8 brides maids. Although there was a lot of people it felt very relaxed and I was able to capture the delivery of flowers, present giving & receiving, hair and make up. I then went to the church to meet Antony and the grooms men. Once all the guests had arrived I waited for Sprit wedding cars to bring April and her dad.
After the wedding John Holbrook took a few pictures then we were of to Old Down Manor to for the rest of the day. We were warmly greated be David Stallworthy Toastmaster and got a quick shot of the stag with Old Down in the back ground. As it was a little windy the rest of the pictures were completed inside the wonderful Manor.
After the main course Santa arrived to deliver some special presents for the children to play with while the speeches took place. The evening began with the cutting of the cake. We then did a brilliant confetti shot from the balcony before a bag pipe player played. He was booked as a surprise for Antony and it was good seeing the look on his face when Bob come in. There was a sweet stand, pop corn table and a band to kick start the first dance and party. Congratulations Antony & April Mapstone x
On Saturday 21th of November I captured the #wedding of Daniel & Lydia at Clevedon Hall. The skies were blue and the sun was out even if it was a little chilliy. Today was going to be the perfect winter wedding. My day started with Lydia where I saw her preparations that included make-up and a glass of champers with her bridal party. Dan then made his entrance to be greated by family and friends before having a couple of pictures outside with his groomsmen. Lydias entrance was perfect, singing from a family friend and a grand entrance down some stairs and then up the isle.
The wedding had 3 lovely readings before some more live music during the signing. After the wedding everybody went outside for pictures as the sun set. It was great to be able to capture all the pictures outside concidering the time of year.
After the speeches everybody went outside again for some sparkler fun. The photo booth opened and the evening finished with the cake cutting and first dance. The party truly started with a packed dance floor of at least 100 guests.
Special mention to the grooms men who all day assited the photograper and myself. Congratulations Daniel & Lydia x
On Saturday 31st October I captured the Wedding of Justin & Emily at the Grange hotel. What made their day so special was they're 2 children, I set out to capture the perfect family wedding.
My day started in Emily's room for hair, make-up and the glass of bubbly. Justin arrived with is best man and usher, Then his dad put on everybody's button holes. As Emily was getting ready at the Grange I was able to go back to her room and capture every stage of preparation.
After the wedding Rachel set up the group photos while the wedding party enjoyed a drink. The speeches were between the main course and desert in the wedding breakfast. Everybody's speeches were great but I particularly enjoyed the best mans Simon, Justin's brother all the way from America.
The evening began with sparklers, a sweet table. It was great seeing Steve from #teamcadence. He had a odd request straight after the first dance to play 'Wifey', what followed was a perfect mix of old R&B that got the dance floor buzzing. Then it was finally over to Hotshots photo booth where guests enjoyed props and having a funny picture.
Congratulations Justin & Emily x
On Friday 30th October I Captured the #wedding of Joe & Samantha at Priston Mill. The day started at Samantha's parents house for bridal prep. It was very relaxed and everyone knew what they had to do. It was lovely seeing presents being handed out, opened and worn. Joe's present for Samantha was brilliant although I don't know to much about bags.
I then went to Priston Mill to see Joe and guest arrive. The best man Sam had one of the best ring boxes I seen. The brisal party arrived in a black taxi (London Style) and Samantha arrived with England's Finest wedding Cars.
After the wedding Interlace Photography sorted out the group shots and personal pictures. It was a warm day and the rain held of so it meant that guests were outside most of the time. Eleanor took us around to Priston Mill's gardens and I got some lovely footage.
The speeches were great but I was unsure if Samantha was happy with Joe downing half a bottle of red wine while trying to recreate a past memory, perhaps a little to early in the day.
The evening started with Sparklers outside, a photo frame with props and a band to see out the evening. Congratulations Joe & Samantha x
