Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Karolina Kurkova, Chanel Iman, Alyssa Milano, Jillian Michaels, Rachael Ray, Gabby Douglas, Dannica Keller, the Foo Fighters, and Kendall & Kylie Jenner, to name a few. Jenny also serves as Redken’s Grooming & Styling Expert and consults with the brand on new launches and styling techniques.
Prior to moving to New York, Jenny was based in the UK where she pursued her love of hairstyling at the early age of 18 and became Art Director & Director of Education at the legendary Rita Rusk International in Glasgow, and then Creative Director of the Alternative Hair Show, the most prestigious hair show in the world. Jenny has been featured in top publications such as Allure and Harper’s Bazaar, and on television programs including The Rachael Ray Show, Extra!, Good Day New York, and the CW 11 Morning News. NOW THE HOW-TO
Prime your face and apply your foundation and powder.
With a dark eyeliner pencil to create a foundation by coloring your eyelid up to the crease. Draw a shape that flatters your eye shape, slightly extend the pencil out.
Using a smudge brush, soften the lines of the pencil up to your crease.
Tap a deeper toned eyeshadow onto the pencil.
Highlight under your brow with a soft shade, sweep it from the brow bone to the crease.
Erase the lines of the highlight and the color on your lid by mixing your favorite shades that will compliment this look. Be sure to blend out completely.
Line the upper and lower lash lines, connecting both lines. Smudge out the bottom line and add the same shadow that was added to your eyelid to blend. Go back in the liner and line your upper and lower waterline for added drama.
Add at least 3 coats of mascara to both your upper and lower lashes, be careful not clump your lashes together. Falsies would also be a great to add on!
Keep your cheeks neutral by opting for bronzing powder over blush. Use the bronzer on your temples and jawline as well.
Apply a neutral gloss to your lip.
If you want, add a bit of a highlight on your cheek bones, down your nose, and your cupids bow!
