1. As part of a virtual heritage preservation initiative, Yeng & Leong will be presenting a series of videos dedicated towards showcasing how 3D Laser Scanning can be applied into heritage preservation. This video is to demonstrate a video fly-through of The Fort Gate at Fort Canning Park, Singapore.

The whole scan project was completed with the Faro Focus3D (Terrestrial Laser Scanner for 3D Documentation/Survey) from just 5 scan positions and a total of 1.5 hour of scan time. The amount of laser scan data collected is sufficient for us to perform this top-down fly-through presentation as seen, without the need to fly a drone due to its capability to document the surrounding to high level of accuracy.
