1. Supercharge those legs with some dumbbell step ups.
    This can be quite a challenging movement so use just your body weight to begin with.
    This movement will recruit the quads as the primary muscle group then your guts, hamstrings and calves as the secondary muscle groups.
    The modification to the step up (high knee) can be used to improve strength,power, balance, stability and muscle recruitment in the above named muscles. Try it out.
