1. So what all does one have to do, to come to Christ? People and books will tell you many things that you have to believe and do, tests you have to pass. Yet in today’s message, guest preacher Dean Phelps invites us to look at something at the heart of the matter, looking at Matthew 16:13-16. What do you think? How might this look in your life?
Our worship is 26 minutes long, with singing, prayer, scripture, all designed for you to join in as suits you. We hope that you'll be blessed by worshiping with DisciplesNet, finding ways your own faith in God can grow in theses trying times.

As we do every week, our time together includes a time of communion (breaking of the bread) where you may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me."
If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond all earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink, such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers are given to extend to where you are If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us. We hope that as you join us for worship you will feel a blessing from being part. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that are always open, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.

  2. How do disciples live out their faith in God in the 21st century? In today's message--the first of our Disciples Believing series--guest preacher Rev. Richard Spleth looks at this question through the lens of 19th century evangelist Walter Scott. Scott was one of the four founders of the Disciples of Christ, one of the largest religious movements born in the young United States. Walter Scott had a special concern for reaching people who were not part of a church, and used a simple way of sharing the gospel message using his Five Finger Exercise. We at DisciplesNet work to continue Scott's work of sharing the Good News of God's love with the world.

Whatever your background, we hope that you'll be blessed at hearing this message through Rev. Spleth, finding ways your own faith in God can grow in these trying times.
