1. From 28th of August till 7th of September 2014 Moscow International Automobile Salon 2014, the leading automotive event of the year, took place at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre (MIAS 2014, eng.mas-expo.ru/mas/exhibition/). Moscow International Automobile Salon had become again the main platform of the country for demonstration the latest novelties of global automotive industries. Almost 1 100 000 visitors came to the event.

    Radugadesign at MIAS 2014 provided interactive touch-presentation for Opel automobile brand visualizing advanced technologies used in new cars of the German motor-car manufacturer.
    Interactive presentation was built on Projected Capacitive Technology (PCT) Multitaction Cell 55: special feature of its mechanics is that it combines user interaction with physical object (car model) and digital multimedia (multi-touch software).

    C 28 августа по 7 сентября 2014г в международном выставочном центре "Крокус Экспо" прошел Московский международный автомобильный салон 2014 (ММАС’14, mas-expo.ru/mas/ ) – ведущее автомобильное событие года. Московский международный автомобильный салон в очередной раз стал главной площадкой страны для демонстрации последних новинок мирового автопрома. Гостями проекта стали около 1 100 000 человек.

    Команда Radugadesign представила на ММАС’14 интерактивную тач-презентацию, рассказывающую о технологиях, используемых в новых автомобилях немецкого бренда Opel.
    Презентация выполнена с использованием проекционно-емкостной технологии Multitaction Cell 55, особенность механики которой в том, что она совмещает взаимодействие пользователя с физическим объектом (моделью машины) и цифровой средой (мультитач-приложением).

    IN A WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY,
    IS IT POSSIBLE TO AMAZE WITH A BOOK?

    WHEN TRADITION CONTROLS TECHNOLOGY:

    FLIP THROUGH THE PAGES OF A BOOK AND COMMAND ACTIONS ON A TABLET.

    An innovative presentation format that brings a large amount of content and amazes the user: a tablet is encased in a book, and by turning the book's pages, the user controls an application that runs on the tablet. In other words, a traditional object par excellence controls a high technology device, providing an unusual, surprising and highly informational experience.

    The project required specific technology development to make possible to control the application through the pages' movement, keeping focus on making the experience as smooth and nice as the natural usage of the tablet. Each page takes the user to a new chapter/ section, therefore it's critical to achieve high precision and perfect timing - and all that keeping any electronic paraphernalia completely invisible.

    Visually, a graphic design project aligned to BMW's guidelines integrates both book and tablet, and the set comes in an impressive box built for the project.

    Quando o tradicional controla a tecnologia: vire as páginas de um livro e comande ações em um tablet.

    Um formato de apresentação inovador, que traz uma grande quantidade de conteúdo e impressiona o usuário: um tablet é encaixado em um livro; virando as páginas do livro, o usuário controla um aplicativo que roda no tablet. Em outras palavras, um objeto por excelência tradicional controla um dispositivo de alta tecnologia, proporcionando uma experiência inusitada, surpreendente e altamente informativa.

    O projeto exigiu desenvolvimento de tecnologia específica para tornar possível controlar a aplicação através do movimento das páginas, mantendo o foco em tornar a experiência o mais suave e agradável como seria a utilização natural do tablet. Cada página leva o usuário para um novo capítulo / seção; portanto, é fundamental alcançar alto grau de precisão e timing perfeito - e tudo isso mantendo qualquer parafernália eletrônica completamente invisível.

    Visualmente, um projeto de design gráfico alinhado com as diretrizes da BMW integra livro e tablet, e o conjunto chega às mãos do usuário em uma imponente caixa construída especialmente para a peça.
