Partnering with Jarratt Best (Public Engagement Officer with SickKids Foundation in Toronto), I was given the opportunity to create several videos that spoke to the issues facing children's health and health care in the developing world and what SickKids Foundation was doing with partners in these countries.
This video was filmed in Ghana when we spent 10 days there in Accra and in Kpedze-Todze (Volta region) where we were graciously invited to spend a day with the children of that village.
The concept was to present the contrasting stats & figures of children's health care between Canada and Ghana, spoken by the children of Ghana themselves and by the people who are making a difference to eliminate these disparities.
This is the 1st of several videos we are producing from that trip.
