Hired out the Sony PXW FS7 during the easter break and went around filming parts of Perth, Mandurah/Dawesvile area, South Perth Foreshore, Applecross and the Hillary's Beach.
I will be uploading some of the ungraded footage in ProRes for those who want to play with grading etc.
I want to thank Riju Abraham and Shenara Fernando for helping/assisting me with the gear.
First time using a Sony Camera plus first time using a camera with LOG footage and so was mainly a learning experience using the camera and using SLOG3.
The following resource helped me a lot to understand the camera and its functions.
Thanks Alister Chapman for this very helpful and informative article.
EDIT: After the awful disaster of Cyclone Pam much has been destroyed in this beautiful country. I have been told that Tanna island where the Yakel village is has been the worst hit our of all the island. This is awful news. We wait to hear more.

I got my Sony FS7 a couple of days ago and took it for a test this morning. I shot some 50 and 150fps clips of my girlfriend and graded them super fast in Adobe Premiere with Film Convert. I'm still learning the camera, how to expose, with our without LUTs and so on. Seems to be a lovely camera though.
