Live Game Production
The SJU-TV crew produced 60 games for ESPN3 during the 2014-15 academic year, including four men's basketball games (two preseason and two regular season). The Humboldt State broadcast was the first preseason game of the year for Men's Basketball, but SJU-TV was in mid-season form. With one full-timer on staff (a Director of Multimedia), SJU-TV is made of mostly undergrad and grad students as well as former students turned freelancers. St. John's defeated Humboldt State, 95-83.
The Red Storm Report is a 10 episode magazine-style coaches show that airs weekly on the MSG Networks. This show is completed solely by the St. John's University athletic department. Each week, the head coach sits down with host Brandon Tierney (CBS Sports Radio) to discuss the latest news from the St. John's Red Storm men's basketball program. The show includes multiple special features each week ranging from player spotlights, behind-the-scenes pieces, series histories, highlight reels and top 10 plays countdowns. The St. John's women's basketball program also has a feature each week.
Go behind-the-scenes of the Red Storm's 69-57 win at Syracuse on Dec. 6, 2014 when St. John's snapped the Orange's 55-game non-conference home winning streak in front of 24,884 fans. Go into the locker room for all of the pregame action and post-game celebration! The players also take you through their most favorite moments from the win!
This special feature aired during episode 3 of the 2015 edition of the Red Storm Report on MSG+ on Jan. 23, 2014.

Outstanding Program Open, Tease, Promotional Video, PSA, and Campaigns
Two versions of the St. John’s Men’s Basketball Intro Video were created for the 2014-15 season – one for the team’s on-campus home (Carnesecca Arena) and the other for Madison Square Garden, where the team plays seven home games this season. The two versions have different beginning segments as well as different in-game highlights, but the goals for both versions were still the same.
The beginning of the MSG version features a journey to the Garden, highlighted by D’Angelo Harrison taking the Long Island Railroad to Penn Station and Phil Greene IV taking the E train to 34th street. This helps strengthen the connection with St. John’s fans as the LIRR and Subway are the most popular modes of public transportation to MSG. The two players then meet up with four of their teammates outside of the 7th avenue entrance and take the freight elevator up to the Garden’s court level.
The MSG version of the intro video was shot over several days in five different locations: the Bayside Long Island Railroad station, Penn Station, the 34th street E train station, the 7th avenue MSG entrance and the MSG freight elevator. Every team uses this historic elevator before heading to its respective locker room.
As of 4/20/15, the intro video and its two updates have received 11,115 views on YouTube - the most out of any team in the BIG EAST conference.
