Hey guys this is just a super quick tut on a tool I made a while back called the On-Off Switch. It just an Xpresso tag you can put on any object that turns objects in your scene on or off at certain frames. It may sound simple but can get tedious if you do it a lot. This tool just makes it super easy to manage.
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick tutorial on how to create your own custom depth maps in Cinema 4D. I think this way of creating depth maps is faster and more intuitive then dealing with the in-camera way of doing it. What I didn't go over in the tutorial is that if you have a camera you can easily lock the depth to it with a simple Xpresso setup. I made myself a preset for this that can be turned off and on that I'll share below. It's just a null that you would drop your whole scene under with the materials already applied to it with some user data to connect the depth to any camera you want. Just a reminder that you'll want to select the black strips texture tag and select "fit to object" so your texture covers your scene.
