Memorial Medical Center's neonatology services offer care to improve the chance of survival for babies born ill or prematurely and to improve their developmental outcomes. Through this service, we are able to focus on creating an environment for a critically ill newborn that meets their physiological, emotional and developmental needs.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at MMC provides an advanced level of care. Our NICU provides a supportive, healing, and compassionate environment to help our infant patients and their families achieve the best possible outcomes.
NICU is staffed by Board Certified Neonatologists and Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, a team of experienced neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists.
Be Healthy! Prevention is the best way to good health. Preventive care includes health services like screenings, check-ups, and patient counseling that are used to prevent illnesses, disease, and other health problems, or to detect illness at an early stage when treatment is likely to work best. Getting recommended preventive services and making healthy lifestyle choices are key steps to good health and well-being. Below are links to the services, that under the Affordable Care Act, are available at no charge to you! All Marketplace plans and many other plans must cover the following list of preventive services without charging you a copayment or coinsurance. This is true even if you haven’t met your yearly deductible.
