Governor Susana Martinez welcomed New Mexico Greenhouse Holdings, LLC to Doña Ana County as the company announced its expansion in Southern New Mexico. The company will invest $6 million to renovate an 820,000 square-foot greenhouse facility with state-of-the-art water purification and recycling systems. The facility also includes 6,500 square feet of recently constructed office space and more than 25,000 square feet of warehouse distribution space, served by 10 loading docks. The company will create 120 jobs over the next four years. These new jobs will include botanists, geneticists, and greenhouse staff.
For the third time in less than a year, Gov. Susana Martinez visited the southern part of Doña Ana County on Monday to announce the location of two new companies in the Santa Teresa area. Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela describes Santa Teresa as “one of the most dynamic communities along the U.S.-Mexico Border.
