This is a showreel of content captured with the Nauticam NA-GX7 for the Panasonic GX7, the Panasonic 14-42mm PZ lens, and all new Nauticam Wet-Wide Lens (WWL-1).
The WWL-1 is a real gem of innovation and is designed to work with everything from full-frame sensors, m4/3's, and smaller 1 inch compact sensors. It offers an approximate 130 degree field of view in water, superior edge to edge corner sharpness, and a very close minimum focus distance.
We brought out the Nauticam RED Epic/Dragon PL housing to test out the all new ARRI Ultra Wide Zoom UWZ 9.5-18mm lens.
The lens is the first super wide-angle zoom lens for the professional cinema market. With an unusually accommodating image circle of 34.5 mm, the UWZ has been designed for both existing and future generations of large-sensor digital cameras such as the ARRI Alexa, ARRI Alexa Mini, and RED Dragon.
Distortion is at a level of less than 1% at 9.5 mm and less than 0.1% at 18 mm, which means that straight lines stay straight, even at close focus.
Unveiled at the 2015 NAB Show in Las Vegas, this exciting new underwater housing is the most travel friendly system available today for the RED Epic and Scarlet cameras.
Built around Nauticam's N120 DSLR Port Mount, and compatible with dozens of Canon EF Lenses, Epic LT is capable of being packed in a carry on backpack that can fit "under the seat in front of you." The housing weighs in at under 7kg / 15lbs. This results in a weight & form factor you can truly take anywhere.
On location, the usability of this system is unmatched. Set up and tear down in minutes, Battery and media changes while the camera is mounted in the housing, and lens swaps in seconds.
