The kitesurf worldchampionship tourstop in Germany was unbelievable. It was amazing to make my best result so far, a second place in my main discipline freestyele and as well a second place in my second discipline slalom. The event in Germany is the biggest world cup of the year and it was unreal to have my sponsors, parents and some of my best friends there to help me, cheer for me and to celebrate with me.
The rest of the episode shows what I’m up to when I’m not travelling around the wolrd, but when im spending some days at home.
#DAY2 of the kitesurf world championships in Germany. In the morning there was light wind so we started with two slalom rounds. I was competing on the Slingshot Turbine 15m, the Slingshot Rally 12m and my new Brunotti Early Bird board. I managed to make it both times to the final! In this video diary just a few words right after my second final!
Thanks to Alex Maes for helping me out on the beach :)
This episode of Today with Lous is about the the registration day and #DAY1 of the kitesurf worldchampionships in Sankt Peter Ording, Germany. Light wind so I set up the Slingshot kite Turbine 17m in the morning to be ready for slalom. In the afternoon I did a autograph session with Youri Zoon at the Brunotti RDP tent and the day ended with a short interview with 2014 world champion Christophe Tack!
TODAY it was our second day at Sankt Peter Ording, Germany, and unfortunatly also our second day without wind. We decided to be a tourist in Hamburg and after that it was time for some action at CAP cable park close to Hamburg. We went for an easy ride, because the worldcup starts this Saturday, but it was really nice to be in the water!
