  2. Virgin Atlantic approached Territory asking us to design and animate a set of informative, character driven explainer animations showing customers how to use their on board Vera entertainment system.

The aim was to incorporate UI graphics with character animation to make a friendly, easy to understand piece. The biggest challenge for us artistically, was coming up with a style that remained on brand, echoing Art and Graft's beautifully crafted safety video, whilst also coming up with something that remained true to Territory.

In order to achieve this, we opted to push more of a hybrid route utilising 3D modelling and animation techniques, rendered with a 2D look and feel, with a bit of motion graphic styled animation transitions thrown in the mix.

  3. Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in "Jupiter Ascending", an original science fiction action adventure from Lana and Andy Wachowski, the creators of The Matrix trilogy.

Territory was approached to work with The Wachowski's to produce animated screen graphics for Warner Bros.'s February 2015 release of the film. Production designer Hugh Bateup was interested in a unique view of the galaxy through graphic displays, and asked us to collaborate with his team.

The notion of isometric lines to articulate various cloaked spaceships and wormhole events was inspired by weather maps, where isometric lines and patterns denote weather fronts.

The result is a beautiful, organic interpretation of the science of identifying unseen events, and the visuals were used throughout the spaceship environments. Territory also crafted a bespoke typeface to ensure continuity and uniquely own-able assets.

  5. In a time long past, an evil is about to be unleashed that will reignite the war between the forces of the supernatural and humankind once more. Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges) is a knight who had imprisoned the malevolently powerful witch, Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), centuries ago. But now she has escaped and is seeking vengeance. Summoning her followers of every incarnation, Mother Malkin is preparing to unleash her terrible wrath on an unsuspecting world. Only one thing stands in her way: Master Gregory. In a deadly reunion, Gregory comes face to face with the evil he always feared would someday return. He has only until the next full moon to do what usually takes years: train his new apprentice, Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) to fight a dark magic unlike any other. Man's only hope lies in the seventh son of a seventh son.

Territory worked with Comflix Studios to produce an animated trailer for Universal's February 2015 release of Seventh Son. Work included edit, 2D and 3D animation, and sound design.
