In a farming town in the Philippines, people are lining up at ATMs to withdraw water.

Sison, Pangasinan is a “no water district”. In order to efficiently distribute water to its residents, its local government has invested in a new technology dubbed “Automatic Tubig (water) Machines”.

Automatic Tubig Machine is a short documentary that tells the story of the residents of small villages in Eastern Pangasinan, Philippines who directly benefit from ATMs, giving a unique perspective of the subject through the ATM’s viewpoint.
