The Holocaust in History and Memory is a peer-reviewed journal published by the University of Essex (United Kingdom). It is linked to the theme of the events organised each year at the University of Essex to mark Holocaust Memorial Day, but we invite contributions on all aspects of the history as well as the memory, memorialisation and commemoration of the Holocaust and other genocides. The journal takes a broad (i.e. inclusive) view of the term ‘Holocaust’ without losing the sense of its origin and the significance of the Holocaust for the European Jewry and the Sinti and Roma.
