1. On Monday 28th May I captured the #wedding of Dale and Sophie at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. The weather was beautiful and this was going to be my first out door wedding of 2018. My day started at Hillside accommodation to capture Sophie having her make-up applied and the brides maids getting final touch ups with there hair. Sophie had also received a letter and a bracelet from Dale. We then all went to Coombe Lodge for final preparations, I captured the dress details, a bottle of Prosecco being opened and a big cheers shot. Dale and his grooms men arrived and after putting on the button holes they had a group picture and a walking shot. Guests started to arrive and I popped back to see Sophie getting her wedding dress from A Class Brides getting done up. The bouquets of flowers looked amazing from The Sodbury Florist. Sophie had her lipstick applied and then it was time for dad to see her for the first time. A moment never to forget with a few tears among the bridal party. Down stairs and guests started to take there seats and await for the wedding to start. Joe Pike pianist player the entrance of Sophie and her bridal party. The wedding all when to plan with a couple of readings from family members.
After the wedding guests got a welcome drink and canapes, Joe continued to play his piano and A.E Photography set up the big group picture followed by the small group shots. The wedding party shots were pretty cool ending with a big walk together on the lawn. Sophie and Dale enjoyed a few romantic shots before it was time for the wedding breakfast. I managed to capture shots of the room empty and the cake made by a family member looked lovely. The speeches were before the wedding breakfast and I did enjoy all of them.
On the evening there was a sweet cart by My Sweets And Treats and a photo booth for guests to enjoy. It was still very warm and everybody enjoyed having a drink in the gardens. I must thank one of the bridesmaids for helping gather guests for special messages, she did a fabulous job and I know the bride and groom will appreciate her efforts. It was time for the party to begin, Dizzy Feet Events had set up and the surrounding up lighting made the room look very nice. Neil announced the cake cut and first dance before inviting the guests onto the dance floor and they partied the night away. Congratulations Dale and Sophie x

Spring was finally here after almost a month of waiting. My day started with Kirstie and her bridesmaid's. Everybody was relaxed and excited for the day ahead. I then met up with Chris and his best men and captured they're final preparations before heading back to Kirstie and capturing the champagne getting opened and a big cheers shot. Guests started to arrive and once Chris was ready he came down stairs and greeted them in the gardens. Guests stared to take their seats, Chris and his best men walked to the top of the aisle and everybody awaited the arrival of the bridal party. As Kirstie arrived with her dad she looked amazing. The wedding was very entertaining with lots laughter and a lovely reading.
After the wedding, guests got a welcome drink and canapes, while Chris and Kirstie got around and spoke to everybody. 3. On Monday 2nd April I captured the #wedding of Shehan and Anna at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. Bad weather had be predicted in the lead up to the wedding so I was bracing myself for a wet indoor wedding. My day started at Coombe Lodge and after capturing detail shots of the venue I met up with Shehan who was busy arranging details with his groomsmen, parents and family. Once he was sorted I captured his preparations with his best men, 5 best men in total because each one were equal. Shehan had presents for his best men, a bright pair of socks and hip flasks. Que 8 bottles of liquor to fill up all the flasks. Once everybody was ready they came down stairs and helped each other putting on button holes before having a little walk. Just before guests started to arrive, Anna arrived to finish of final preparations by getting into her dress. Guests started to arrive, take their seats and await the bride and her dad. The wedding was a lovely with a few readings from family and friends.
Today was a special day as there was also going to be a Poruwa Ceremony, the Buddhist blessing would take place about an hour after and another 90 guests were expected to arrive. But before part 2, Interlace Photography captured a few family pictures and personal shots. Anna then went back to her room to get ready in a Sari with Shehan's mum and auntie helping put it on. Shehan greeted guests as they started to arrive and it wasn't long until the blessing. It started with both families coming up the aisle, the traditional order of events followed, the blessing ended with Shehan's mum leading everybody singing 'Jayamangala Gatha'.
After the Poruwa Ceremony guests went into the gardens for a welcome drink and more pictures. The Sun was out and the temperature was warm. I captured the wedding breakfast room details just before everyone took their seats for the wedding breakfast. The speeches followed a lovely meal and one of the best men was a compare, personally I though he was great and a fantastic addition. Speeches were then made by mum, Shehan and Anna and 2 best men with lots of different stories entertaining the guests.
My evening started by getting special guest messages with the help from a couple of best men. The was a photobooth for guests to enjoy from Enhanced Entertainment. When the party room was ready Shehan and Anna cut their cake and surprised everyone including myself with a first dance with a number of dance moves. Olly from Enhanced Events mixed songs to a packed dance floor allowing me to capture many different shots of guests. Congratulations Shehan and Anna Horton x

  4. On Saturday 10th February I captured the #wedding of Bradley and Sarah at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. This was my first wedding of 2018 and I was excited to get back in to it again. My day started with Sarah for bridal preparations with her bridesmaid's. The was a hair and make-up station and upstairs all the dress and shoes were lined up ready to capture. Sarah was also given a present from Bradley and thankfully he had listened to her request for a pair of ear rings. There was also a candle and a lovely letter just hot everybody welling up. Just before I left bottle of champagne got popped open and everybody had a toast.
I then went to Coombe Lodge to meet Brad and the lads. Unfortunately, it was raining so I managed to get a group shot by the bar area. Guests started to arrive, and it was lovely seeing a few couples who's weddings I had captured in the past. John Lambert Toastmaster was in charge of proceedings for the day and it wasn't long until Sarah arrived with her day in a wedding car provided by Spirit Wedding Cars. I had waited outside in the pouring rain for 5 minutes to capture her come up the drive way. I was absolutely soaked but glad I had captured the shot I needed.
During the wedding guests were shocked when the ring bearer turned out to be Brad and Sarah's dog. It made a surprised entrance and ran up the aisle with the rings attached to his neck. Thankfully all when to plan, the dog was very well behaved. After the wedding all guest were treated to a drink and canapes. The rain was still coming down so we all stayed indoors, I captured guests enjoying themselves and detail shots of the wedding breakfast room. The table centre pieces looked absolutely amazing.
After the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches, I really enjoyed them and definitely will pinch a one liner from the best man for my best man's speech.
My evening started by getting so night shots of Brad and Sarah, it had stopped raining and I managed to capture some really nice shots. The was a sweet table and Brizzle Booth provided a photo booth. I got some lovely shots of guested enjoying themselves with the props provided. I got a lot of guest messages and one very special message that is up there with one of the finest captured ever. Can't revealing details as I'm going to leave it as a surprise.
The party began with a Mr and Mrs game set up by one of the best men, then another surprise for everyone. During the first dance it was gate crashed by The Bureau of Random Acts Granthology. After a mesmerising dance they set up a girl’s V boys dance off. Only one winner and the girls ruled the way. I had a fantastic time and it really kicked my year of in style. Congratulations Bradley and Sarah Jayne Prosser x

  5. On Saturday 9th December I captured the #wedding of James and April at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. It was a crisp winters day and weather conditions were perfect for the day ahead. I started my day with April and her bridesmaid's, they were busy having hair and make-up completed. Whilst I was with April her wedding dress arrived and the trail was unbelievable, such a lovely design and definitely had the wow factor. James then arrived with his groomsmen and I managed to get a few shots with him outside before guests started to arrive. I went back to see April getting into her dress before she walked up the aisle.
The wedding went very well and there was a lovely ready from a family member. After the wedding there was mulled wine for the guests and Coombe Lodge had lit there fire. As light was fast running out James and April had there personal photos first and the group pictures followed. While the pictures were being taken Damian Surr was inside mesmerizing guests with a fine selection of tricks. I managed to capture the wedding breakfast room and it looked fabulous with all the candles and center pieces.
Just before the speeches Damien from Gingermagic had a trick for James and April with all the guests around the top table. The presentation with great with a lovely keepsake gift for the bride and the groom. The speeches followed and each were very emotional and the best man was quite entertaining with a few of his stories.
My evening started with a sparkler walk way from James and April. I got some guest messages before the cake cutting and live first dance performed by The Moon Loungers. They then started there 1st set with a packed dance floor. Congratulations James and April Davis x
