1. The Center for Disease Control has made huge strides toward ending the tobacco epidemic. They wanted a 90 second animation to celebrate their progress and to continue to inspire people forward into a tobacco-free future. I co-directed the spot with the amazing Melanie Dorn from ICF. Using bold colors and a simple cast of characters, we created graphic vignettes to illustrate all the great things the CDC has accomplished and what they’re working toward.

  3. Aesthetic Integration (AI) is the world leader in applying formal verification to financial markets, however, to fully grasp how revolutionary that is, there’s a lot to know about the current state of financial markets and the regulatory difficulties inherent in something so complex.

    We were approached by AI to create an introductory film that would bring audiences up to speed on (1) the current state of the algorithms underlying the global financial infrastructure, (2) how they're important but problematic, (3) what Formal Verification is and therefore (4) how Imandra is so valuable as a tool to create safety, fairness, and stability in such a tumultuous system.

    Communicating these ideas to audiences who have no financial/maths background, as well as those who have a great depth of knowledge in the field was a huge challenge. With enough coffee and tacos to feed a small army, we set out on a 2-person and 3-month journey of research, direction, design, and animation.
