The teaser for the Babok show 'Asiel'. Asiel is a shelter for neglected domestic appliances. Babok will give these machines a second life by transforming them into bizarre mechanical pet. 'Asiel' is visual and interactive object theatre about the love / hate relationship between man and machine. A theatrical installation which transforms public space into a absurd moving playground.
A short film of the Babok show 'Asiel' (Shelter). The film is shot by an audience member during a try out of the show at the festival Buitengewoon in Doetinchem (NL) in 2013. 'Asiel' is a shelter for neglected domestic machines. Ásiel 'is a theatrical installation for public space. Visual object theatre with a lot of improvisation and interaction between performers and audience members. 'Asiel' transforms public space into a moving theatrical playground for people from all ages and backgrounds.
