This is a short documentary edit from footage shot for the One Day on Earth project in the Lower Rio Grande Valley ( onedayinlrgv.org ). It began the previous afternoon as the film crew and boat crew set off from the Shrimp Basin in the Brownsville Navigation District and worked overnight for the purposes of filming which officially kicked off after midnight on April 26th, 2014. Normally, a crew sails for 30, 60 or even up to 90 days straight and returns with a boat full of wild-caught shrimp for the U.S. consumers. Come join them, and the film crew, on this amazing journey.
