Thank you to Jonathan Grabowski and his teacher, James Prater, along with the rest of the students and staff at Estes Hills Elementary for creating this short video reminder of the importance of Juneteenth.
The North Carolina State Employees Credit Union recently partnered with the Phillips Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) team to offer every eight-grader a lesson in the "Reality of Money." The students created this video to show how they were each given a profile (job, salary, marital status, etc.), and had to purchase groceries, transportation, childcare and more - all within their monthly budget!
Anyone in need of a new head band or ear warmer for these cold winter months? The Apparel Development 1 class at Carrboro High in North Carolina can help. Check out this short video to see how our Career and Technical Education students in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools are making them.
