355 Nautical miles: crew had met each other for the first time the day we set sail. Hurricane force winds, seasickness and fatigue tested us but we sailed down the coast in 4 days, 5 nights (all day and all night sailing). I experienced the definition of fair winds and following seas on my recent sail down the California coast from San Francisco to Marina del Rey. Now I know why so many sailors send that wish to you as you set sail. Fast and fantastic sailing.
