This is the first video I made in collaboration with my roommate for my Public Discourse class in Fall 2008. It was created in response to a growing problem on Gustavus's campus. The college had recently purchased Tupperware for students to use when taking food from the cafeteria in order to shrink the number of cardboard to-go boxes thrown away per year (nearly 250,000!) Unfortunately, students didn't return the Tupperware (known as GustieWare on campus) to be washed and reused by other students. GustieWare was seen lying all over campus, in buildings and outside. This video was created to encourage students to return their borrowed Gustieware to the dish room.
This is an advertisement I filmed and edited as an intern for the Gustavus Theatre and Dance department for the fall dance gallery featuring student choreography. It was intended to highlight the hard work and preparation that goes into a production. Enjoy!
This is a film I made for a class project during fall semester 2009. The film was supposed to convey exclusion and how it made you feel. The balloon serves as a symbolic representation of the protagonists feelings. I also experimented with color a bit. Enjoy!
Thank you to my wonderful friends who volunteered their time to act, I couldn't have done it without you.
This is the most recent addition to my film portfolio. It's a short advertisement for Gustavus' Physical Theatre Project. The advertisement highlights how unique the project was in terms of the movement and the emotions. The show was centered around the idea of nightmares and strange dreams. Enjoy!
