Hello! Vango is a free character rig I created for After Effects. His dapper looks are based on the infamous Vincent van Gogh.
Currently, he only comes with one set of hands, so if you want more hand shapes, you have to draw them and add them to the rig. Just look in the project folder called "update these body parts" and place each shape on a separate frame. You can update the mouth shapes in this folder, as well.
Disclaimer: This rig was created as an exercise in learning and testing rigging techniques and concepts in After Effects for character animation. There will most certainly be shit wrong with it. Feel free to use it in any way you wish, but don’t come crying to me when something doesn’t work the way you anticipated, or the way it should. Good luck, and have fun!
This is a compilation of mostly simple things I see in a lot of tutorials that help to make motion graphics look better. Not a recipe so much as a list of ingredients you might want to consider using. I always wished I had something like this when I first started making motion graphics, so I thought some beginners out there could benefit from it.
