Big thanks to all the artists and people who were there,
And special thanks to the burning man organization for making these experiences possible
I just received my DJI Inspire and flew it 3 times. Everything was shot at 4k @30fps, but between :37 - 1:43 I put it on the "soft" profile and "log" color. (I won't ever use soft again.) This is not supposed to be an actual production, but just showing the 4k image quality.
Pros - The Inspire is a much better pleasant flight experience. The flying, the app, the power, the light bridge, etc. all make for an amazing leap from the Phantom 2. The provided case is really, really good. I probably won't upgrade the case. It isn't Pelican quality, but it also isn't Pelican heavy. The remote control is amazing. The camera tilt is buttery smooth.
Cons - DJI is still working out some bugs. For example, there already is a firmware update, but you need to use a USB 2.0 card reader instead of the USB 3.0 that I use for everything else. I have been having a significant jerky movement with the camera/gimbal. I did an advanced calibration and recalibrate the gimbal. I have only had one flight since and the issue did not reoccur. We will see what happens in the future.
This is the first flight of our bird Saqqara , which for this film it incarnated the spirit of the great eagle Harpia, a bird who lives in most of the forests of south america and a big part of the remainings of Mata Atlantica.
Through its eyes, this wonderfull bird shares with us this strong energy that lives up in the sky of the north beaches from Sao Paulo.

The Drone Aviary reveals fleeting glimpses of the city from the perspective of drones.
It explores a world where the ‘network’ begins to gain physical autonomy. Drones become protagonists, moving through the city, making decisions about the world and influencing our lives in often opaque yet profound ways.
This film is part of The Drone Aviary Project, by Superflux, which investigates the social, political and cultural potential of drone technology as it enters civil space.
It has been awarded the Grants for the Arts from the Arts Council England. To find out more about the project visit: http://superflux.in/blog/the-drone-aviary
