Giving is at the core of how we choose to celebrate Jesus’ birth. It’s a tradition we return to again and again, going above and beyond our normal giving to bless our community at Christmas. This year is no exception. We are going to give to:
World Relief: We have refugees coming to our town from all over the world. We have such an opportunity to show sincere acceptance to folks who need it. We’re going to use our campus as transitional housing and partner with World Relief Anne Arundel County.
Camp Scholarships: We will provide the opportunity for kids and students to forge new relationships, and encounter Jesus through camp experiences. Some families want to send their kids but are not able to do so. Let’s not let their kids miss out! Help send a kid (or two or three!) to camp.
Super Saturday: We have the community coming to our campus in waves each year for this event. This year, we’re raising the bar and investing in the kids of our community by adding needed infrastructure and building new partnerships.
A bigger house, nicer car, better vacations: wanting more isn't always bad, but are we looking for satisfaction in all the wrong places? "Being Rich" outlines exactly how rich most people are and how God wants us to respond to his blessings.
This four-week series puts a fresh perspective on what being 'rich' really means and how we can honor God with the richness of our finances, time, and hearts.
