1. I am a person
    Tamara Akl

About once every five minutes an incident of domestic violence is reported in India. Millions of women have suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of husbands, family members and others. Domestic violence is recognised as a major human rights issue that is often overlooked, excused or denied. Mumbai’s current legislative system and corporations have attempted to reconcile this problem. The severity of this issue however, has continued to grow as more women and children become victims to it.
