I can't believe I actually got to shoot this wedding. It was such an incredible opportunity and an absolute blast. I am beyond honored that we were able to capture the amazingly beautiful wedding of Nataly Dawn & Jack Conte of Pomplamoose.
They were so much fun to be around and are such kind, genuine people.
Just a quick update from Laila and Andrew's Welcome Party for their wedding guests. This is our first destination wedding, so we're super excited to be here to capture all of these great memories for them.
We had such a good time capturing Laila and Andrew's Destination Wedding in Cancun, Mexico at the Now Sapphire Resort. There was a 40% chance of rain, and there was talk of moving the ceremony to a nearby gazebo, but the rain stayed away! Laila and Andrew were married on the beach, and it was just like they had dreamed. Beautiful.
It was such a treat to shoot their Persian-American ceremony on the beach in Cancun. We loved every minute of it. Even though the rain stayed away, it was quite windy. We use "dead cats" on our wireless lav mics to eliminate wind noise. They're basically really furry windscreens that kind of resemble, well... a dead cat. There was very little wind noise, if any at all, captured by our mic, and you can hear the officiant clearly. Win!
So, we hope you enjoy this update from Laila & Andrew's Cancun Destination Wedding! Look for a few more before we head back home.
