Beginning with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., the point is made that the end-time, 7 year great tribulation is not Biblically correct. The destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish nation is a type of the archetype of the judgment upon mankind.
But the key verses telling us that the end will come upon the world like a thief in the night are from Jesus' words in Matthew 24, which is also about the destruction of Jerusalem.
## "Mat 24:36-39 KJV But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." ##
The point is, the very last day of this age will be very routine (eating and drinking) and even optimistic ( marrying and giving into marriage) with many in the world.
With this consideration, it is reasonable to say that the return of the Lord requires no further fulfillment of prophecy and is imminent.
What many do not realize is that they have received of the plagues of the Harlot by taking Daniel 9:27 as being about the anti-Christ rather than the correct interpretation, about Jesus Christ.
This video explains the lie to a degree and the truth to a great degree.
