  2. This is Part 3 of several conversations I had with Natasha Milanovich in July 2010. Natasha is the owner of Bikram Yoga Comox Valley, and she's been practicing (and teaching) this particular approach to yoga for about 8 years. In this episode, we talked about the impact of years of dancing on Natasha's body, and how practicing Bikram Yoga has helped to rebuild and strengthen her, making her body healthier than it has ever been.

  4. Doug Hillian is a long-time Courtenay resident with a history of involvement in criminal justice and social issues, professionally and as a citizen of the Comox Valley.
Doug recently decided to run in the upcoming civic by-election for a seat on Courtenay City Council. In this, the first of a series of interviews with Doug, hanspetermeyer asks about Doug's motivations for getting involved in what many consider to be a thankless and "junior" level of political engagement.
The civic by-election takes place on November 7, 2009.

We change our lives, and the lives around us, in myriad ways. This channel will capture some stories close to my life. My intention: to inspire you to either keep moving on your own ChangeYourLife path, or to take the steps you've been wanting to take in that direction.

The paths shown here are varied, as you'll see. In one series, people are talking about the impact of practicing Bikram Yoga, a structured form of yoga that takes place in a hot room.
Another series looks at a group of individuals who travelled from Vancouver to Copenhagen in December 2009 to be part of the UN conference on climate change.
A third series will look at people whose lives are changing because they are taking dance classes.
There's also an interview with a man about to take the plunge into life as an elected official in local government.
