1. I created my first making-of movie of my illustration 'The Composer'. I first make a rough sketch, place it in Illustrator, draw every shape on a seperate layer, export all layers to a high resolution Photoshop-file and add shadows, lighting and textures and edit the colours when necessary.
    This illustration took about 8 hours to make and I show only the seperate layers here.

  2. A recording of me illustrating a cowboy entering a saloon in Photoshop and Illustrator CS4, using an Imac and a Wacom Intuos3 A5 wide.
    The original rendering process took me around 5 hours, and it’s sped up here to about 15 minutes.

  3. Time-lapse of a full digital painting illustration with Mypaint / Alchemy and Gimp on Linux. ( only free and open-source application compatible with other system too ; ex : Windows ).

    It was recorded in august 2009 as a technology demo for the 2D open source industry, done with Blender Video sequence editor as well as VLC/Mencoder and (gtk)Recordmydesktop.
