I created my first making-of movie of my illustration 'The Composer'. I first make a rough sketch, place it in Illustrator, draw every shape on a seperate layer, export all layers to a high resolution Photoshop-file and add shadows, lighting and textures and edit the colours when necessary.
This illustration took about 8 hours to make and I show only the seperate layers here.

A recording of me illustrating a cowboy entering a saloon in Photoshop and Illustrator CS4, using an Imac and a Wacom Intuos3 A5 wide.
The original rendering process took me around 5 hours, and it’s sped up here to about 15 minutes.
