The International Book Bank works with non-profit
literacy programs in the developing world to supply
them with high-quality new books and educational
materials. Books go to children, the ill, and the
indigent, in places where there is no access to books.

In 2010, IBB sent a shipment of books to Monrovia, Liberia, to the We-Care Foundation. We-Care champions literacy and education in Liberia, providing books to primary schools, operating public libraries, and training teachers and writers.

  3. The International Classroom is a short film that promotes awareness of International Student issues in higher education classroom settings. As a series of six scenarios, The International Classroom aims to shed light on the reactions, feelings, and thoughts of international students as they encounter tension while interacting with their instructors and fellow students. The six scenarios represent issues reported by the six largest groups of international students at Western Michigan University. These are: Chinese, Japanese, African, European, Indian, and Muslim students.

Presented by the International Student Coalition, the target audience for this film is classroom instructors, though students may also benefit from the content.
